03/19/1947      Article 10        Accept provisions of Chapter 40, Sections 42A – 42F inclusive.

03/19/1947      Article 10        Petition Director of Accounts to set up system for Dennis Water District in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 35

03/16/1949      Article 13        Accept provisions of Chapter 32, Sections 1 to 28 inclusive to establish contributory retirement system.

03/15/1949      Article 10        Accept Chapter 40, Section 39H – may enter into contracts or provide aid to other city, town or district or water company for the operation, administration, repair and maintenance of its water supply system.

03/21/1962      Article 10        Accept provisions of Chapter 32B - to provide a plan of group life insurance, group accidental death and dismemberment insurance and group general or blanket hospital, surgical, medical, dental and other health insurance for certain persons in the service of counties, except Worcester county, cities, towns and districts and their dependents.

03/17/1965      Article 11        Accept Chapter 32B, Section 9A – for the payment of 50% of the insurance premiums for retired District employees.

06/30/1976      Article 3          Accept Chapter 32B, Section 11A – provide for optional life insurance coverage at non cost to the District.

04/25/1978      Article 20        Accept Chapter 32B, Section 10A – provide dental insurance coverage for employees and retirees.

04/28/1981      Article 16        Indefinitely postponed – Chapter 32B, Section 7A – provide a subsidiary rate in addition to the payment of fifty per cent of a premium for contributory group life and health insurance for employees and their dependents.

04/28/1981      Article 17        Indefinitely postponed – Chapter 40, Section 42 – selectmen to authorize the laying of pipes and conduits for the conveyance of water under any public way in their town.

04/30/1985      Article 14        Accept provisions of Chapter 32B, Section 7A – to pay additional percentage (more than 50%) of group life, health, and dental insurance for active employees and their dependents.

04/29/1986      Article 19        Accept provisions of Chapter 32B, Section 9E – to pay additional percentage (more than 50%) of group life, health, and dental insurance for retired employees and their dependents.

4/25/1995        Article 5          Accept provisions of Chapter 32B, Section 9D – to pay 50% of the premium of group health, and dental insurance for surviving spouse of an insured employee or retiree.

4/27/2010        Article 7          Accept Chapter 32B, Section 18A – requiring all eligible retirees, spouses and dependents to enroll in Medicare Part A, and to enroll in Medicare health benefits supplement plan offered by the District.

4/24/2012        Article 7          Accept Chapter 32B Sections 22 and 23 and as they may be amended from time to time.  Copayments, deductibles, tiered provider network copayments and other cost-sharing plan design features; increases.  Transfer of subscribers to commission; notice; transfer to Medicare of eligible subscribers; withdrawal from commission coverage; group coverage provided by commission; deficit in claims trust fund by self-insured political subdivision; administration of coverage for transferred subscribers by commission; reimbursement of commission for coverage costs; withdrawal from commission.

04/28/2018      ARTICLE 8.   Accept Chapter 32B, Section 20 pursuant to subsection (b) for the purposes of establishing an Other Post-Employment Benefits Liability Trust Fund, and further, that the District, pursuant to subsection (d) designate the custodian, the Treasurer of the District as defined by subsection (c), as the trustee of said OPEB Fund.
